I had 458 magnum to pick wild raspberries.

Just in case you had a "Blueberries for Sal" moment?

I knew an old gentleman who had two pristine baby Browning .25acp’s with consecutive serial numbers. He had many people try and buy them from him but he would not part with them. One day three guys kicked his door in to relieve him of those pistols and he promptly shot all three of them with one of them. One died and the other two survived their wounds.

A .22LR or a .25ACP is better than a .44 magnum at home in the safe. I carry a Keltec P32 90% of the time in .32 ACP and feel comfortable carrying it. Shot placement is everything.

The best gun is the one you carry.

Old Joke...

"My .22 saved me from a bear once. I was hiking with my bf when we came across an angry brown bear looking right at us, I pulled out my .22 fired one shot into his knee, and got out of there, safe and sound.

I really love that gun, and besides, I can always get another boyfriend..."

Thank you, but there still does not seem to be a new, freshly made Judge there, nor does there appear to have been any manufactured in quite some time.

I just went to Gunbroker.com and searched for the Taurus Judge and got over 600 listings of new pistols.

Apologies, I just realized we’re talking about different firearms.

Taurus Judge vs. Rossi Circuit Judge.

Yes a 22, I heard that the 22’s were hollow points filled with some sort of poison.

When I first watched the trailer, I thought the same thing as you (some weird chick flick) but NO. It is a true Western genre and there are male characters (white hat and black hat).. just not a lot of them. I really liked it for this reason: what would happen to a town if all the hubbies died in a mining accident? Now.. what would happen to a Western town where all the women had an “edge” simply by moving there/living in an area that is so rugged? More importantly, would “soft” women (and that is the majority by far) “man” up to save their town and remaining family and friends? My only disclaimer is this: there is one lesbian in the entire cast of characters; however, it is more of a “difference of the character” than anything “graphic”. TBH.. she was my favorite character. Some of her lines and actions made me howl with laughter! I would say watch two or three episodes.. you will know by the end of two if it is your cup of tea. Hugs, Mom

“Good, brutal series..”

I watched the finale “Homecoming” twice... the final shootout is awesome! Hope they do another series.... what if Goode returns? What about the signed owners of the mine now? I really liked the characters.

I won’t carry anything lighter than the 9mm. Even that calibre is very dependent on bullet placement.

Hans Ulrich Rudel, Stuka pilot and the highest decorated German soldier of WWII, carried as his personal weapn...a .25 automatic pistol. In a belt holster, he barely noticed it while sitting and strapped into his *office* seat, but it was there if he had to leave his plane behind Russian lines...which he did, at least three times.

He would not have fared well if taken alive by the Soviets. Like a tank crewman prepared in the event he faced burning to death inside a disabled tank, he had the tool that could keep that from happening.
