Rep Trent Franks, according to reporting on the Tucker Carlson show, is being pushed out, not for sexual harassment, but for bringing up surrogacy for him and his wife due to being unable to have children.
Apparently he brought this subject up with a couple of women in his office but at no time suggested or asked either be a surrogate. If they took any offense or felt uncomfortable; that's on the women for being far too easily offended.
I'm so mad about this I could chew nails. Ryan should be escorted out of DC by armed Secret Service agents and told to never return. Trent Franks is one of the good ones. This stinks of back room politics. I can't help but think the ultimate target is President Trump. This is the sleaziest of politics.
Why would Franks agree to resign over something as mild as this?
She is right. Women cant handle themselves. I have women employees who are tough enough to fend off unwanted advance with “ GET LOST BOZO” I will fire them for weakness if they don’t!! These paid political whores want to play but they dont want to get hit. My Gosh. Did you read the facts He has a meeting with this bitch and followed up with emails. She took offense and said to stop emailing her. He profusely apologized and said it would not happen again .AND IT DID NOT!!! He was a perfect gentleman. Trent did NOTHING to resign for but Ryan can now say the Dems did the right thing, we have to follow suit.

Guys, be real, asking someone who you are the boss of to be a surrogate puts them in a compromised position. You are their boss, not just some friend or associate.
Doing it once would be a teachable moment, doing it multiple times? Definitely shows poor judgement.
No it’s not sexual harassment in terms of wanting sex but it does put employees in an inappropriate position because of their gender.
I completely agree, putting this in the same class as what Conyers and Franken were doing is crazy, but to say this guy should not have known better and that what he did was “nothing” is disingenuous as well.

It is something but not IMO even a firing offense with previous warning or whatever, let alone a reason to deprive a district of its duly elected representative.
