There must be a good reason --- but for the life of me I can't figure out what it might be.
Trump needs to fire or re-deploy someone in the FBI and the Justice Department every day. A mid-level appointee one day, a low-level appointee the next day, a high-level appointee next --- repeat over and over again. Congress has threatened to impeach him if he fires Sessions, and perhaps others, but if he goes after the low hanging fruit then it shouldn't go to that level. Gut the departments, and refill with new non-beltway blood --- that should fix it for at least a few years.
Oh, and send Strzok to Texas for his new assignment.
After everything we've seen so far with Holder, Lynch, Comey, Mueller, and company --- what harm could it do???

Trump needs to open a very large federal office in Dead Horse, Alaska. Transfer all those Federal employees “who can’t be fired” there. Why Dead Horse? Smaller population than Barrow, AK and it is dry. Not even a beer for 140 miles...

Congress said they would not approve a replacement for Sessions; the idea that they would IMPEACH the Pres. for firing an “at the pleasure of the President” employee is stunningly hilarious.
Sessions is a bum and he should be fired.
Here’s an even better idea: fire nobody. DJT can and should appoint a special counsel(s) TODAY to investigate the dozen or so democrat scandals.
He should ORDER (he has the plenary authority to do so) the prosecution of Pagliano for ignoring the subpoena, and he should order federal marshals to arrest his bum ass right this minute.

Sessions is what happens when loyalty is rewarded over competency. And now we’re stuck with him.
Just Replacing the leadership in a corrupt, deep state infested bureaucracy won’t work.
When Mohammed Atta’s visa was issued to his Florida flight school in March 2002, that was the end of the line for the Immigration and Naturalization Service.
The INS lost its status as an independent Bureau, and became just another box in DHS.
The FBI deserves the same.
Big bureaucracies have their own problems, but once the former FBI is a box in DHS, FBI leadership won’t have the incentive to defend the FBI at all costs, since their next promotion will likely be in some other part of DHS.
It would appear on the surface that Sessions is an empty suit.
Playing devil’s advocate for a moment, It may very well be possible that Sessions is allowing the swamp to sink itself. The revelations about the lawyers on Mueller’s team, etc.
Further, we don;t know what is going on inside the Sessions DOJ and maybe they are working on all of the things that we want, but are doing so quietly, so that when they spring the charges, they are irrefutable and cannot be politicized.
Think of the circus that would ensue if the charges and evidence were not air-tight and irrefutable.
I recall the 1998 impeachment of Bubba, the charges were misguided...considering the deal with the Chinese and Loral, and the litany of treasonous acts of Clinton, the abject criminality of Hillary, and the rest of that cabal.
The only way this BS stops is if they have die or they have them dead to rights.
