FLYNN’S PLEA BARGAIN A NEAR-NOTHING BURGER
Front Page Magazine ^ | 12/04/17 | Matthew Vadum

With no smoking gun, the anxious Left’s euphoria is premature.

Former National Security Advisor Michael T. Flynn’s endlessly hyped plea bargain does not signal the beginning of the end for the Trump administration, no matter how ardently the mainstream media and left-wing political hacks want it to be so.

It is merely an inevitable consequence of the perjury traps set by the corrupt Washington swamp-dwelling Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III and sprung by otherwise law-abiding Trump operatives. Mueller was appointed May 17 by Rod J. Rosenstein, in his capacity as acting Attorney General by virtue of Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ self-initiated recusal in the Russian electoral interference investigation.

FLYNN’S PLEA BARGAIN A NEAR-NOTHING BURGER

Unless you need an underling crime to build an obstruction of justice case.

I don’t believe even a single word that they have said or are saying about Flynn. They have not yet said what it is he is supposed to have lied about, not to Pence, not to the FBI. And that, by itself, is weird.

Of course, we don’t know even yet what happened in Vegas, about the guy who shot 500 people... you know that five minutes after they had his phone, laptop, search history, and bank records they knew exactly what it was about. But they are not talking.

I don’t believe it was a plea bargin. They charged him for making a false statement and he pled guilty. He is cooperating, because he knows where the bodies are buried so to speak.

There will be a sea of liberal tears very soon.

“They charged him for making a false statement and he pled guilty.”

I agree I see no bargain here. If so, he shouldn’t pay his lawyer. If he was really going to help bring Trump down he would have gotten everything cleared from the table.

I keep seeing people subscribe to that theory, but I see nothing of substance that indicates this in any way. LS almost had me convinced of it too, until the flynn plea bargain. muller is a rat bastard and he would give his life to bring down Trump.

Victimeless obscure abstract noncrime... Never saw one such pursuit being ever successful.

It obviously is a political campaigning witch hunt for votes of impeachment

They can’t believe that reality and their wishful thinking are at odds. So they melt like sad little snowflakes, and they grasp at straws as they drown.

Trump said the General lied to Pence and the FBI. What additional evidence do you need that he lied?

This is going to be interesting. When it comes to the White House the word is his integrity has been impeached because he’s a known liar. Yet there will be a sea of liberal tears very soon. Wouldn’t his integrity be impeached on outing liberals?

That “theory” is so far off the plantation now they’re having to try to claim that Flynn is thrilled for having to plead guilty for a felony, as if that’s the only way he could ever testify, so it was his plan all along. I would say I can’t wait to see how much farther their pretzel gets twisted, for the laughs, if it wasn’t so sick for how it’s insidiously defending Mueller.

What was Gen Flynn’s job prior to 2014?
Who succeeded him?
Who is the current occupant?
Who paid an “unauthorized” vist to Trump Tower a week after Trump won the election?
Is Mueller qualified to be FBI director again?
Why did he visit Trump one day prior to being appointed SC?
Who visited Mueller before he testified before congress?
Did Mueller serve in the military?
Why is Trump surrounded by military generals?
Who is the USMC assigned to?
Who is the CinC?
He wasn’t suppose to win.
What are state secrets?
Who has access to them.
What Intelligence operation was not infiltrated?
When can the president use military intelligence?

God gave us free choice. A great awakening is coming.

OPERATION MOCKINGBIRD

Who is Anderson Cooper?

Stay vigilant. God bless America.

So far, this has been a process crime - lying to the FBI.

The process - the FBI calls in the target, and grills said target for three hours., then releases target.

Target is called in three months later, grilled again, almost verbatim the same questions, asked over and over, in varying order. the target is again released, with the admonition “Don’t leave town”, which is enforced by taking away passport and some other documents.

The FBI calls in the target again two moths later, after scrutinizing the transcripts made of the interviews, and confronts the target with even the most minute discrepancy in the accounts which have been given, if the findings of even irrelevancies do not agree, then the target is “lying”.

And that is the crime, which may be prosecuted in a manner not differentiated from the methods used to prosecute high crimes and treason. But wait, we’ll make a deal. Give us something on your boss, and we will reduce the penalties (maybe), if you gives the good stuff, i.e., something we can jail your boss for.

If they were not the people that would be used to investigate it elsewhere, the FBI could be accused and charged under the RICO statutes.

One teaching point if you’re ever interviewed by the FBI: If they’re referring to details of a telephone conversation, you don’t remember a thing. “It was so long ago. We discussed a number of things, but I can’t recall precise details” and stick to that line. Assume they have the transcripts and have studied them at length. They WILL trip you up with minor details and find SOMETHING to charge you with.

Finally, remember that you can’t lie to the FBI, but it’s perfectly OK for them - even the Director - to lie to us.

After revelation that his interviewer was a Trump hating, cheating, srnior fbi agent, it looks like Flynn will be able to beat even this charge.
