At some point, you run out of ways to squeeze more revenue out of the public and reality sets in; the same reality that walks in county facilities and are met with more indifference than compassion, which is why it's hard to feel much sympathy for some of these fat-and-panicked employees that have had secure jobs for decades.

I imagine a significant chunk went to insurance and such benefits, training, facility overhead, pensions (I’m guessing), and “overtime.”
But yeah, I’ll bet they all drew a comfortable salary for whatever it was they did. I’d probably be begging to get back in, too!
He transferred these union “workers” to the welfare rolls where they will continue voting Democrat at a lower cost to Rahm.
That was an interesting video to watch. Did you catch the one lady who stated she gets out every three years to support the politicians reelection campaigns implying it was required to allow her to keep having a job?
This is an example of the deep state folks, only at the county level, vice the federal level.
