My uncle Manny was an actual NYPD cop. He also had a striking resemblance to the stockier cop on the left, whose name escapes me. Uncle Manny was a wild and crazy guy. I remember when his wife criticized him for throwing their large dog into the backyard swimming pool. Next thing he did was to toss my aunt into the pool, fully clothed! They were married for many decades, quite happily, until cancer took her in her 70s.
