Fox News announced on Tuesday that it was hiring conservative commentator Mark Levin to host a new show on Sundays at 10 pm, drawing the network ever closer to its pro-Trump base and further protecting it from future competition on the right.
Its clearly another step in Fox News channels evolution to a more Trump-friendly series of programming, said Dan Shelley, the executive director of the Radio Television Digital News Association. Its right in their current wheelhouse.
Levin, who arguably ranks just behind Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity for influence in the world of conservative talk radio hosts, has been critical of Trump in the past. He supported Senator Ted Cruz in the 2016 Republican presidential primary and even identified himself as a member of the Never Trump movementuntil he decided to support Trump.
He has seldom looked back since. Levin helped popularize the conspiracy theory that former President Barack Obama was wiretapping Trump Toweran idea ultimately picked up by Trump himselfand is known for promoting ideas in line with the president. Just recently, he has bashed the Mueller investigation, backed Trump on extreme vetting, and complained about the liberal media ignoring various Clinton-related issues....

Apparently Fox saw the error of their ways and is trying to inch back to center-left.
Mark is as ‘Pro-Trump’ as any #NeverTrumper could be.
He seems to have made his peace with the outcome to The Election, unlike a Kasich or McCain.
I haven’t listened to Levin since the primaries and I can’t imagine watching him now. I do wish him luck, though.
I wouldn’t call Levin a “pro-Trump host”. He was foaming-in-the-mouth anti-Trump during the election.
Levin is pro Trump?
Looks like he will be on at 10pm Eastern time. I live on the West Coast and that would be at 7pm. I will tune in.
Same here. The name rings a bell. I’ve gotten out of listening to a lot of talk radio. I do occasionally listen to medved only because he’s all that’s on (besides NPR) on my 90 minute afternoon commute. But usually I listen to the bible or songs I’m trying to learn.
Great. Ditch Shep next.
I heard Mark Levin was getting a new show.
Who’s the Pro-Trumpster getting one?..............
No thanks.
You doubt Politico?
Actually, Levin often has a lot of not-nice things to say about Trump. But he’s honest, he supports Trump when he’s right and calls him on the wrong things he does.
Not a big Medved fan so I think I would op for the Bible or songs. The rest of the world would ask me not to sing so I will just listen. LOL
I was very unhappy with Mark during the primaries, but he has come around and defended Trump as strongly as anyone when the chips have been down. When you're in the war we're in now, you take anyone who is willing to fight on your side. Mark stood nearly alone in defending Trump over his tweets about being wiretapped at Trump Tower.
Kasich and McCain have let their personal feelings trump their good judgement, no pun intended.
Get rid of the evil, SHEPHERD SMITH..who can't stop himself from destroying Judge Roy Moore.
After showing supporters of the Judge, Shep goes into his character assassination of this Judge..He is nothing but a LIBERAL BUTT KISSER, (SAYING THAT MILDLY) ALL his guest are liberal supporters that hate our POTUS and all he stands for...it is time for all of us to let FOX NEWS KNOW WE ARE SICK OF THIS BUTT KISSER.

Actually Mark Levin is not exactly pro-Trump. He will criticize Trump and his staff if he disagrees with Trump’s policies, but he will also defend him staunchly when he believes he is right.
In the 2016 primaries, Levin was actually a Cruz supporter.
I recall Levine being virulent anti-Trump. But then he started to lose his audience and Trump ended up winning and he changed his tune.
The author is an idiot. Anyone who knows anything about Mark Levin know he’s not “pro-Trump”. Levin calls balls and stripes with the president. Supports some things, not other.
