Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton revealed she owns a pink "pussy hat," which became the symbol of the Women's March on Washington a day after President Trump's inauguration.
"I do!" Clinton told the New York Times when asked if she owned the pink hat. "I was given one that's going into my archives."
Thousands of women donned the pink knitted beanies with cat ears as a symbol of solidarity as they marched in late January.
"The idea is both a play on pussy hat, pussycat, and also references the hot mic from the ‘Access Hollywood' video. It does reference Donald Trump and those comments, but it's also so much more," Jayna Zweiman, one of the women behind the hats, told CNN. "It's reappropriating the word 'pussy' in a positive way."
Clinton writes in her memoir, "What Happened," that she stayed home from the Women's March.
"If I showed up, nasty politics would unavoidably follow," she said.

So they were protesting Trump because he used crude ‘locker room’ talk toward women. And Hillary is in solidarity with this. Yet she did everything in her power to protect Bill when confronted with his incessant sexual assaults against women. Real woman of principle there.
