The same argument applies to DC where large numbers of citizens had served and died in a number of our wars.
I recently spoke with my son in PR. He says the economy is really doing well, there is lots of work. He thinks it may be because of insurance payments for those who had property destroyed or damaged. He is in construction and is very busy. Does anyone else have information?? or an explanation for what he is observing?
The economy of Puerto Rico does well when the overall economy of the U.S. does well. It’s getting hard to fill jobs.
