I was running down the stairs in heels with a cup of coffee in hand, I was talking over my shoulder and my heel caught and I fell backwards. Hillary Clinton, explaining broken toe.
This brings to mind three things Hillary has still not learned:
1. Coffee, coffee, coffee. Then try the challenging issues of your day. Its safer that way.
2. People who spend a lot of time looking backwards find very few answers but discover a lot of excuses.
3. If you keep peering into the rearview mirror you may see messages that you do not appreciate,
and are closer than you think.
But on a more immediate and practical note, looking backwards is just plain dangerous.
And if youre looking backwards while running downstairs in heels with coffee in your hands, well, you might even fall backwards and break your toe. Of course you could also happen if you drop a full bottle of vodka on your foot.

The fatal flaw in her lie is the word “running.”
Catching her heel would cause her to go face first down the stairs. Wow, this lie is getting worse every time she tells it.
Hey Killary: Did the booze bottle break when you dropped it on your toe?
If she fell backwards why would her toe be injured? Her toe world be pointed UP the stairs. Did fall up?
Obviously the tripped on stairs explanation is bogus. So what is the real story? The real part is that something is wrong with her toe. First thing that comes to mind is Gout attack. Which she doesn’t want publicized since it might cause some questions about other medical conditions.
My husband developed gout in his 40s as a side effect from blood pressure meds (Lisinopril/sp?). Alcohol aggravates it, as does soda pop.
So, there are a few data points to consider.
LOL Vodka! Good post and comments at the source.
First lie is “heels”. Hill hasn’t seen a pair of heels for years. She has trouble standing upright in flat shoes. I took note of that during the primaries.
Was that Irish Coffee?
