Saw some of this on a new show. It didn’t make any sense.

Yes, our morning news ‘personalities’ in Phoenix had a real yuk-up about this skit. I thought what I saw on the news was appalling. And then I remembered it was the NBC affiliate and they frequently put in ‘news’ commentary on shows from their network. I figure at least they aren’t making up NEWS, at that point. But to have to promote their network’s entertainment programs in the middle of the supposed ‘news’ is pathetic.
As they grow up, I expect many SNL audience members will come to see that also.
I looked at the DVR to see if they got any different - opened predictably with Boring non-funny Baldwin impersonation of Trump - really bad. Then 5 out of every 6 skits was anti-Trump. I stopped watching because none of it was even remotely funny, it was dripping with hatred - not good for comic show.
