Only one Senator I know attacks when he is cornered by the truth...McCain
He’s probably talking about Pelosi, DiFi and McCain.
I’m annoyed that diabetes was lumped in with Alzheimers.
Alzheimers can only positively be diagnosed in an autopsy. Most doctors use the terms “memory problems” or “dementia”.
As there is no effective cure or treatment, no reason to push for a definitive diagnosis.
Pelosi is certainly showing signs that could be interpreted as Alzheimer’s and a famous presidential candidate pretty certainly has Parkinson’s which is mentally debilitating.
This pharm. guy won’t be around long. Say Buh, bye, moron.
“As Vox pointed out, the original revelation doesnt appear to violate patient privacy laws because he didnt identify any specific patients.”
Actually he might have. Some people have been busted for giving out information that allows people to zero in to tightly based on demographic data. Congress would be an example.
This guy better hide his money and vamos!
LOL!! As if we can’t tell who has dementia/Alzheimer’s??
He just saw his profits tank and threats of law suits.

People on Twitter expressed dismay at the revelation and the apparent breach in trust.

Sounds like the Left: Attack the messenger and dismiss the facts.
This pharmacist was an idiot to talk to reporters. Now his congressional business will disappear when the Office of the Attending Physician picks a new pharmacy, or, more than likely brings it in house. I do see he went to Howard...
Considering the average age in Congress, I’d be willing to be Alzheimers meds are probably among his most popular deliveries up there.
And this guy was not speaking in the hypothetical. He knows there are people in Congress who don’t even know what day of the week it is.
Without naming names (to eliminate any claim of violations of privacy) it should, must and critically as a national survival necessity, be mandatory to make statistics about this horrible revelation subject to FOIA requests, or simply as a statistic essential to the functioning of a healthy representative democracy:
How many (no names, just numbers) members of the bicameral legislative branch of our government are being medicated for diseases compromising normal mental and judgement functions (as well as national security)?
Related questions:
Is this pharmacy a funded budget item?
When was this pharmacy originally created or authorized?
Who originally proposed the bill (law) creating this pharmacy, or authorizing its functions?
And the alt-left members of Congress have the metaphorical balls (anonymously) to question Trump's sanity?
Seriously?
Horsepucky.
That's after any Kennedy Klan sleep medications are excluded.
Or it certainly should be.
Many of us have seriously questioned the mental health of many members of Congress; justifiably.
Didn't the insane exist during the founding of the Republic? What a monumental lapse in the failure of the Framers to address this "little" detail!
