My Mother-in-law has been gone about 4 years. She lived with my wife and I for last 1-1/2 years of her life. Unable to walk from time she moved in with us. We got along great.
Wife and I have been married 46 years, never had an argument with either of my in-laws. Wonderful people.
My mother-in-law had a reputation of being pretty tough and did not trust men, except my father-in-law, and me. (she was married before to a very irresponsible, but likeable guy.)
My father-in-law was often mistaken for my father. He and I looked, thought and acted alike on a lot of things. We were very close.
I still have my father and he is the best, 92. He is still the happiest when he is working with me.
That’s a GREAT post :)
Sorry for the losses. But VERY happy about dad :) What do you guys do when he helps you?
Actually, my MIL is a sweetheart. I was just shooting or a laugh. My own mother is more of a terror :)
