I really like Endeavor which is early Morse.

John Thaw was excellent in Inspector Morse.

Another show of his was The Sweeney. First rate action.

Having seen a few Morse shows, there’s a hunger to see more. Like the mystery, and the crime inspectors who tend to be a bit quirky are always entertaining. ie.... Murdoch Mysteries, Murder in Paradise, Monk. All three are always an unexpected treat.
