There is nothing in the law that prevents a third party, in this instance the Trump supporters, from collecting and distributing information on political opponents. So much information is out there, in the public domain, that it would be difficult to claim that anybody’s privacy is in any way compromised by this collection of information, and short of actually doing something of a libelous or slanderous nature, the information may be used as deep background, and if found to be fully credible, is an excellent way to neutralize or even invalidate that person’s assertions when they make their own attack.
The Left has been doing it all the time. We are already aware of the rules of engagement, so when they start whining, there is something else to throw in their faces.
I hope my post didn’t come across as complaining about it?
