“The shiny “multi-purpose tool” in Scott’s hand would have looked like a possible weapon to police—especially with the way he was stepping, his posture, etc”

Cops mistake all knds of things for weapons....dogs, cell phones, cigarette lighters, Australian women,Star Wars light sabres, elderly men,car keys, paper cups, etc.

The Australian woman was shot by a Muslim cop in a no-go zone. Pistols made intentionally to look like cellphones are being manufactured by at least one company. Quite a few pistols are small enough to look like cigarette lighters. Dogs that are in fact weapons are more popular than ever with the drug culture. It is now extremely dangerous for stranded motorists to walk down country roads.

Law-abiding private residents should be careful, while the cops are taking out the trash. The more negligent and apathetic rubbish of society should carry on without adjustment [see heads, Opioid, Benzo (Xanax) zombies, pet mashers, the tattooed/pinned, service-dog-lickers, raw/rotten meat eaters, the pottie-handed, intentional sloths, et al].

Perspective is also needed, by the way. It’s more dangerous to eat in a restaurant or stay in a hospital today than to talk to cops. Formerly restricted to spaces of prostitution and IV drug abuse, there is now super-bug funk all over the place. Diseases of old places of squalor are cropping up everywhere.
