This sick propaganda is further left than that twisted Red Son series where Kal-El landed in the USSR instead of the USA.

The Dark Knight Returns and it’s portrayal of Superman becoming a privileged brat, sure it showed him with Ronald Reagan but he was on the side of political correctness and an obstruction to Batman in that one.

Red Son was actually a pretty good story, about how things would have been different if the commies had an unstoppable superweapon — and hidden in the story was the particular gem that as a philosophy it's utterly bankrupt, because it can only 'hold' while being forced to (ie at the barrel of a gun) — it also had America rising up to the challenge (via Lex Luthor) of defying a superwapon/alien-invasion. (It's also interesting to note that after Luthor kills Superman, Superman just 'retires', just fading into the background.)
