If I get this stupid thinking correct, then “whites” should demand the criminal title of “mass murderer” or “serial killer” to such persons who have committed mass &/or serial murders, as most of them (from my recollection) have been “white”, and labeling those “white” criminals that way imposes a wrong social burden on the “white community” and particularly the “white” youth.
Next step is to start recruiting more white gang bangers for “balance”
The entire premise used to quit keeping the database represents a certain level of lying.
The database is an INTERNAL DATABASE, NOT a “published list”, so in what manner does keeping the database and how and why names are added to it IMPACT members of any community generally. It is not as if the police department sends out a list saying “here Portland are all the suspected gang members we have”.
Where would/could the impact of the database be noticed on any general community? Just because it exists?
Now, without that designation in that database, Portland police will not have it available when doing investigations or picking up suspects. They will not, as easily, know/realize someone is part of one of the gangs, and how the suspected activity is/was part of gang operation. How nice? FOR THE CRIMINALS.

As long as the police department doesn’t release the information, what difference does it make if the department lists people in its information base as suspected gang members? In order to protect himself, an officer might want to know that when responding to a call.
Cool. A new home for the 1%er outlaw bikers. Portland should put up highway signs, “We Need More White Gangsters. Hell’s Angels, Pagans, Outlaws, Warlocks, Sons of Silence and other white 1%ers apply at the City Hall. Mongols, Vagos, and other ethnic bikers need not apply. Portland has a policy of diversification in all gang related activities. We need more white shitheads to balance things out.”
They’re doing this to hide the fact that most of the gang related crime is being perpetrated by mexican gangbangers, ms-13 types, and human traffickers exploiting illegal aliens.
Don’t forget that Portland is a self declared “sanctuary city”, with a new police chief straight out of Oakland.
City officials put the protection of their beloved illegal “dreamers” over that of the law abiding public.
Oh, yes! Erasing the gang records is sure not only to correct any racial disparity, but also to eradicate gang activity!
Future people will look back at this magical thinking and equate it with aborigine tribes who, when photograped by anthropologists in the 20th century, fought with them, because when they saw the pictures, they believed the camera had stolen their souls.
