The One Simple Reason Why Colin Kaepernick Isn’t Playing Football that Everybody Missed
Flopping Aces ^ | 09-07-17 | Brother Bob

With all of the hot air that's been blasted about former NFL Quarterback Colin Kaepernick, I'm surprised that everybody seems to be missing the most obvious reason why no NFL team has signed him. If you're lucky enough to not have any idea who this nimrod is that I'm referencing, I've written about him a few times previously. So why am I wasting more time on him? Because in this post we get the big reveal, and can finally put an end to this "controversy" and put this idiocy behind us once and for all.

The latest development in this story is that Spike Lee has been organizing some "Stand with Kaepernick" rallies to protest the NFL offices, as if somehow the league commissioner is supposed to force a team to hire a particular player. National Review's Jim Geraghty raised a great point in one of his podcasts along the lines of "If the rally is for Kaep, shouldn't everybody be sitting or kneeling for him instead?" And of course, in typical Leftist hysterics, they laid out a list of demands for the NFL:

1. That the NFL institute a policy to protect players' rights to have freedom of speech, so they can kneel, raise a fist or express opinions on social issues, if they wish.
2. That the NFL establish a review board to, Green says, "examine issues of social injustice." As Tamika Mallory, a social activist and co-organizer of the 2017 Women's March, put it in her speech, "The NFL, just like the NYPD, cannot police itself. Any organization that is only being looked at from within is a failing organization. There must be a unit of people internally and externally that look at racial and cultural sensitivity issues within the NFL."
3. And that the NFL develop some sort of program to "reinvest into the communities in which they serve, where there are high rates of unemployment, high rates of mass incarceration. To re-invest those funds into the community," Green says."
To respond to each of these demands:

1. That freedom exists - it's called the 1st Amendment. More on this in a bit.

2. They expect the NFL to create jobs for otherwise unemployable parasites with worthless degrees in grievance studies.

3. "Re-invest" money into the kinds of organizations of what my buddy The Destroyer of Colons dubbed "The Nonprofit/NGO Industrial Complex", which he defines as "Jobs programs for Lefties when there's not a Democrat in office"

Good luck with all of that. And of course, the race hustlers in the NAACP are calling for a boycott of the NFL until some team decides to take on the headache that is Kaepernick. Personally, I would have loved to have gone to one of these protests with a camera and survey the protesters about who they think will win this year's Super Bowl - the Cavaliers or the Cubs.

As if this isn't irritating enough, the Smithsonian is planning on adding a Kaep exhibit in the African-American History museum for his work in bringing attention to the fine work that Black Lives Matter is doing. In other words, our tax dollars are being spent to glorify domestic terrorists that destroy predominantly black neighborhoods. But Conservatives are the racists.

Back on topic, NFL ratings were down last season. Depending on who you ask it was due to being an election year, or it was tied to the National Anthem protests. The reality is it's probably a little bit of both. But it's not just TV ratings that are hurting. The secondary market of sports bars is taking a hit as well.

And Kaepernick just isn't good enough to be worth the headaches.

1. He sucks.
2. He distracts from the business brand.

He’s bad business all the way. Who’d hire a trouble maker that distracts from the organization’s mission? He’s a childish imbecile who hasn’t gotten this yet. Good enough for him.

He’s not playing because he’s a devout Christian and because York used him as a scapegoat. Other player who knelt are still plsying, so it isn’t that. But others who were Christian were blacklisted.

No playing because he quit his original contract and has turned down multiple contracts since then. From reports there is work out there if he wants it. Shame he screwed up and is not worth as much to anyone as before, plus undesirable because of his anti-American activities and comments. If he wants to work, he’ll have to take what is offered, otherwise find a new career (better choice as he’s blown this one.)

The reason Kaepernick isn’t on a team is because he decided to opt-out of his 49ers contract.

Had he not done that, odds are he’d still be with them.

“And Kaepernick just isn’t good enough to be worth the headaches.”

He is not responsible for the headaches. He is causing aches at the other end where the owner’s wallets are kept. Since this started, attendance and profits took a nose dive directly related to it. And nobody is good enough to be worth a loss in incoming cash like this. It isn’t that complex.

The reason Colin Kaepernick is not an NFL QB is because he can’t play the position well enough to be worth the headaches induced by his idiotic political shenanigans.

Spike Lee ought to hire CK - put him in one of his movies
and quit demanding what other business owners should do.

“Had he not done that, odds are he’d still be with them.”

No. John Lynch, the GM for the niners, had already announced that they were going to cut Colin if he did not opt out on a PFT Live interview. He was gone either way, and the team gave him the choice of how it was going to be done. So opt out looks better to the uneducated than cut.

He’s not playing because he’s a devout Christian

The being a "Christian" part is highly doubtful as he does not demonstrate much of the attributes of a Christ-Like life.

The fundamental reason CK is not signed as a starting quarterback,as he believes he should be, is because he is a one dimensional player whose only skill is the read option offense that defenses have caught up with. When forced to stay in the pocket he takes too long to go through his progressions and get the ball away with his long delivery motion resulting in sacks, hurries, blocked or tipped passes and scrambling runs. If he were a good quarterback all of his SJW routine would be swept under the carpet and ignored.

Partner, you stole my exact thoughts.

All players should stand and place their hand on their heart or salute if they have been in the Military, and they should be fined big time if they do not do this period. 70% of the NFL are black and they get paid really big bucks for playing football.

I would be praying to God every single morning and night thanking him for giving me this job of playing football and making big bucks in the NFL.

I got to see a lot of Colin Kaerpernick's College football games at University of Nevada at Reno and he was phenomenal in college. He stood up and placed his hand on his heart before every game that I saw him play in college. So he had not problem standing up and honoring our National Anthem while in college and now he gets drafted to play and he fails to recognize the National Anthem.

Whenever players start politicizing on the field then most fans and folks are turned off by these events.

Colin Kaerpernick will not play in the NFL ever again and Colin don't let the door hit your posterior as you leave the NFL.

The long meandering article never got down to the "one simple reason". I think this guy gets paid by the word.

Here's my simple reason: "Not a team player."

Anyone who’s been paying attention to Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz knows that he’s a Christian who openly shares his faith in God — and he has no plans of stopping anytime soon.

“I always tell people, for example, if you love your job, you love your wife, you love what you do, you’re going to talk about it,” Wentz recently told CSN Philly. “Well, I love Jesus. That’s what I love, so I’m going to talk about it.”

I think Spike Lee should hire him. So what if CK can’t act? So what if it maybe hurts Spike Lee’s brand?

Lee ought to step up to the plate instead of demanding how others should run their businesses. I think Lee is just using this to keep himself in the news.

Exactly.

He's not willing to play for what teams are willing to pay him.

He overvalues his skills, which would make just about anybody in any profession unemployed.

His lack of a job gets a lot of press because it serves the agenda of others, but it really comes down to economics.

Reason 1A: Debilitating injury clause pays him his full contract if he can no longer play.

If he's not allowed to play, he cannot be injured and can be released without further salary.

It's just not worth the risk playing him to lose games and tens of millions of dollars both, no racism, no politics.
