Remember the article the other day about the guy warning there would be earthquakes in the wake of the current major coronal ejections? Could this be his proof?

I think the biggest earthquake ever as in Chile. Wonder how they line up.

Was this bigger than Mexico’s 1985 quake?

No. Coincidence is not proof. I think the earthquakes happened as I was making coffee, so I guess making coffee causes earthquakes.

Wow! that thing (and its aftershock swarm) packed some real power! The four seismograph displays (in China [2], South Korea & Japan)-- surrounding the Nork nuke test site at Punggye-ri --went so far offscale that their seismogram plots are totally black!
Seismograph "MAJO" (Matsushiro, Japan) is typical:
If CLFK wanted to hide a test, (which he doesn't because he wants to brag about them) -- now would be the time to pop one. Every seismograph in the Global Seismic Network is "wiped out" like MAJO, above.
Onlya few island stations (like Tuvalu, in the South Pacific -- which have their sensitivity cranked 'way back to suppress constant ocean-wave noise -- have even a recognizable display of that 8.1 monster:
