In what is surely one of the most ludicrous (yet entirely unsurprising) displays of the pitiable excuse for leadership in the Western world, the European Unions EU counter-terrorism coordinator, Gilles de Kerchove said the way to combat terrorism is putting up bollards.
We must work more at protecting so-called easy targets. Bollards, the re-designing of pedestrian streets are necessary. There is a clear effect of imitation in terrorism, and it seems clear that something like Barcelona will happen again, he said. Yes, Giles, the way to stop deranged madmen from murdering innocent people in the streets is to make them walk around a concrete post first!?!
This is a guy who has been in his position since 2007, and has overseen the largest rise in terrorism on the streets of Europe ever seen. The idea that putting up posts at the beginnings of bust streets would not only cause absolute chaos (because it is not only terrorists who drive down streets), would not only be impossibly expensive (it would involve simultaneously redesigning every city and road way), but it would also be singularly ineffective!

That’s about as smart as the lady who wanted to move the deer crossing signs as they had put them in dangerous places for the deer.
They will come up with other things. And I don't know how many bollards it would take to stop them all.
Just part and parcel living in the big cities or anywhere else in Eurostan.
How to make the streets welcoming for the m*slims: Foot washes on every corner. Mosks every 500 feet. Darkened alleyways to make it easier for the m*slims to rape the European women, convenient buckets every 100 feet to hold the heads that m*slims slice off humans.
These guys in Spain had put together a major bomb which prematurely detonated. Bollards wouldn’t have stopped it.
Know Islam, No Peace
No Islam, Know Peace
I once read that they took down street signs in Moscow that invaders, Germans I suppose, couldn’t navigate the city very well.
Also, the phenomenon of ‘slow streets,’ which I ran into in Phoenix, comes to mind. The neighborhood streets were so curvy and prone to cul-de-sacs that not only would traffic have to move slowly, but more than once, I got lost trying to get home.
I’m just waiting for the self-driving trucks and cars.
Then, islamic terrorists won’t have to go to the trouble of illegally immigrating to the West to kill and destroy, they will be able to hack autonomous vehicles from the comfort of their local madrasah or mosque...

Or the woman in TX who wanted the total solar eclipse moved to another date because her son had to be in school or whatever??? There are so many stupid people/stories surrounding us that it’s too difficult to keep up with all the nutcases!
Maybe they should put in more homosexual crosswalks.
