The entire EU out to get Google battle can be framed in one sentence: Google is private in private industry, the EU bureaucracy is an unelected government
There’s a new monster out on the trail patiently waiting for the unsuspecting to wander into its mouth before it snaps shut its vizor-like jaws from which there is no possible escape.
The monster, the most monolithic of them all, is set to gobble the Internet while piously claiming to save the masses from Google.
The European Union is a preview of what is coming our way. Look at England, they want out, and it is all but impossible for them to do it.
From the US Deep State, into the hands of the European Deep State.
Google is definitely moving into enforcement of the collectivist narrative. This could be their attempt to get the alligator to eat them last. Of course feeding the alligator only makes it bigger and want more.
Taking sides on this would be like picking a side on a Obama vs Micheal Moore fight.
Right. Should I ask if I can be completely anti-Google, yet not want to hand over power to the EU?

I hate Google with a passion.
But I don’t want to hand over Internet control to the E.U. or U.N or anyone.
Doing that would be like “I hate brussels sprouts so lets hand over all food production to Eritrea.”
WTF is that gobbledygook supposed to mean? If you want to make a point, at least use coherent language. The EU sucks. Google sucks. Are we supposed to root for one over the other here? Why?
Obama was to sign over control of the internet in September, 2016 to foreign entities (UN?), and I have NOT seen anywhere that did NOT HAPPEN!So the USA does NOT have control of internet that I know of....if you know otherwise, please post!

ICANN was transferred to the control of a supposed private globalist corporation which answers to the U.N.
I assumed that this article meant that they want to give control over who can have business on the internet and what they can say to the E.U. A slightly different thing.
It is all kind of confusing to me too.
I'm no Google fan but their point that their competition is only a mouse-click away is absolutely true. It may be big and corrupt in its own way but it isn't the only game in town. The EU bureaucracy is.
The whole thing is fulfilling of Bible Prophecy not yet complete. Antichrist will control ‘who can buy or sell’ meaning use of internet limited to those who swear allegiance to ???? (future) This scenario is setting up for ‘whoever/whatever’ becomes that world ruler. Long after Trump is gone.
The whole ‘do away with cash’ with chips inserted for info, is part of that whole prophecy about how evil works its way into our lives. Started w direct deposit, a good thing, that can be twisted to make people subject to control. May start w businesses on internet, and lead to personal banking etc.... God prophecies have been 100% correct so far, and counting...’things are not always as they seem’.
