Former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara criticized President Trump's decision to pardon the controversial former Sheriff Joe Arpaio on Friday, saying on Twitter that it was "contrary" to the Justice Department's standards for issuing pardons.
"This pardon is contrary to DOJ guidelines, unsurprisingly. Pure politics. Wonder what the pardon attorney's official recommendation was," Bharara tweeted.....

Actually he cannot pardon “anyone”. He can only pardon persons convicted of federal crimes. A governor can pardon persons convicted of state crimes. But within the realm of federal crimes, the President’s powers are very, very broad. He is certainly not limited by “guidelines.”
The DoJ doesn’t grant pardons. The President does.
Not one word from any of them about the good things Trump is doing.
Everything they do is designed to get rid of him.
How did this guy last as long as he did after Trump took office?
The Left howled when Trump fired him. Now we see why.
He was one of their plants inside the government to sabotage anything not approved by the Swamp.
When we want Pr*ck BwaHaHa’s opinion, we’ll beat it out of his lying mouth with a baseball bat.
The DOJ is to adhere to the Constitution's standards, not the other way around.
I wonder sometimes if Preek BwaHaHa’s underage female interns were safe around him.
Why would anyone listen to a defective with a name like that? God only knows what values he was raised believing in. Damn ferrinner...

“This pardon is contrary to Soros/Obama/Eric Holder/Thomas Perez “Enable the Illegal Aliens” guidelines.” Bharara tweeted.....
“Article II of the Constitution gives the president broad and unreviewable power to grant ‘’Reprieves and Pardons’’ for all offenses against the United States. The Supreme Court has ruled that the pardon power is granted ‘’[t]o the [president] . . ., and it is granted without limit’’ (United States v. Klein). Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes declared that ‘’[a] pardon . . . is . . . the determination of the ultimate authority that the public welfare will be better served by [the pardon] . . .’’ (Biddle v. Perovich). A president may conclude a pardon or commutation is warranted for several reasons: the desire to restore full citizenship rights, including voting, to people who have served their sentences and lived within the law since; a belief that a sentence was excessive or unjust; personal circumstances that warrant compassion; or other unique circumstances.”

DJT should have had Sessions meet Joe on the tarmac at Sky Harbor to hammer out the details... NO PICS NO CELL PHONES
That is what I was thinking too. I am pretty sure Presidential Pardon Power is older than the DOJ. Luckily Bharara meets all known douche nozzle guidelines.
Trump should pardon D’Sousa just to piss him off.
That is my kind of style. Place that thumb directly in the middle of the cornea.
I.e. DOJ guidelines are that no petition should be filed until the entire issue is merely academic.
But, in the 74th Federalist Paper Alexander Hamilton wrote:
the benign prerogative of pardoning should be as little as possible fettered or embarrassed. The criminal code of every country partakes so much of necessary severity, that without an easy access to exceptions in favor of unfortunate guilt, justice would wear a countenance too sanguinary and cruel.
Hamilton goes on to demolish little men such as this preening Preet:
[Having argued why the power of pardoning is properly placed in one man, Hamilton argues the problem with reposing such power in the many]... [a]s men generally derive confidence from their numbers, they might often encourage each other in an act of obduracy, and might be less sensible to the apprehension of suspicion or censure for an injudicious or affected clemency. On these accounts, one man appears to be a more eligible dispenser of the mercy of government, than a body of men [such as Preet, McClame, Ryno, and their fellow travelers].
A Democrat whining about violating guidelines. They can’t even follow laws let alone guidelines.
Trump cannot make a MOVE without getting heaped on criticism. It’s like there’s an unholy force at work against him.
I guess 0bama pardoning a traitor was just peachy
