Poll: Jeff Flake Trailing GOP Primary Challenger By 14 Points
Hidden Americans ^ | 08/25/2017 | Richard Saunders

The news just keeps getting worse for Jeff 'The Flake' as a new poll shows him trailing Kelli Ward by 14 points. Flake, who voted for Evan McMullin in the 2016 election, only accomplishment as a senator was to push for amnesty as a member of the 'gang of eight'.

Flake has spent the last couple of months trying to sell his new book by going on liberal networks to bash the president.

Flake siding with Hillary Clinton, Obama, and the democrats on gun control, open borders, on the supreme court, and on unbridled free trade has shown Arizona republicans that The Flake doesn't have their back.

From AzHighGround:

    Q. If the primary election for United States Senate were held today, would you vote for [Rotate] Jeff Flake or Kelli Ward?

28.2% Jeff Flake 42.5% Kelli Ward 5.1% Some other candidate 24.2% Don’t know, Refused

On Tuesday, President Trump called out Flake at his rally saying Flake is "weak on borders, weak on crime.”

Trump also calls out Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake, but doesn’t use his name: He's "weak on borders, weak on crime” https://t.co/OMOaooCUtl — Anderson Cooper 360° (@AC360) August 23, 2017

A statewide survey conducted by Az High Ground shows Flake fourteen points behind his primary opponent Doctor Kelli Ward and eight points behind potential general election opponent Kyrsten Sinema.

From AzHighGround:

    Q. If the General Election for United States Senate were held today, would you vote for [Rotate] Jeff Flake or Kyrsten Sinema?

32.5% Jeff Flake 40.5% Kyrsten Sinema 27.0% Don’t know, Refused

The Republican Primary Election sample was of 273 high efficacy Republican and PND/Independent voters and has a margin of error of ±5.93%. The General Election sample of 400 high efficacy general election voters has a margin of error of ±4.88%.

“While Election Day may still be more than a year away, Senator Jeff Flake’s campaign has a lot of work to do to persuade Republican primary voters that his form of principled Republican conservatism can trump the nativist populism that is fueling Republican voters’ antipathy towards Washington insiders. These same Republicans still give the President a 74% approval rating in Arizona,” said Chuck Coughlin, President & CEO of HighGround Public Affairs, which conducted the poll.

NBC’s Steve Kornacki details how Arizona Senator Jeff Flake’s reelection chances fare when considering his recent feuding with President Trump and tough primary challenger Kelli Ward.

That should not matter. When you vote in the primaries you vote for policy and ideology. It takes discipline to do that.

That's true, however, if it all ends up with a D in the Senate, where's the win?

Defeating an establishment RINO is always a win. If Flake wins the Ryanos will make hay out of it and the nationalists lose more clout.

Would be good to have an organizational structure to ensure that happens. The RNC and GOP are obviously useless.

Before proving his tendency towards liberalism in the Senate, Pat Toomey had a decent national program where he raised funds for the favorable candidates. I don’t recall the name. Maybe Palin could get active on that front. Or somebody else. But search and funding for the alternative Primary candidates must begin as soon as possible.

And here’s is how Flake wins. The GOPe knows it and it is what they will do. Split the vote

? Sinema is the Rat.

Time to make an example out of him. Kind of like the Texas Ranger quelling a riot- just shoot the first one, the rest chill out.

Old but still funny. A Texas Ranger was at a social gathering wearing his sidearm. A lady asked him if he was expecting trouble. He said, "No Mame, if I was expecting trouble I would have brought my rifle."

“Can Ward beat Sinema?”
*********************
Yes, she can that bisexual ‘RAT in the general election. My biggest fear is that, now that Flake has been shown to be VERY unpopular, others will enter the primary and end up splitting the anti-Flake vote allowing him to slip in with only a plurality. Arizona does not have primary runoffs.

It’s almost certainly too high for Flake-—but I’ve told the Ward campaign to completely ignore this, and any other poll showing her up.

The media will ONLY tout polls showing her support falling, so forget polls entirely.

I think she can beat him like a drum, but must work like she’s behind.

“Can Ward beat Sinema?”

Are you saying only a betraying liberal scumsucker like Flake can beat the real thing in Arizona? A real conservative can’t win here? You watch too much CNN.

Polling will say the D wins. It’s the Arizona People’s Republic, a dreadful communist newspaper.

Ask yourself, will Arizona elect Tammy Baldwin? Because that’s who the Democrat is just like.

You seem to like Flake. We already have McCain. Having two of them sucks even more.
