This article was written over a week ago and i posted it because he predicted, accurately, this McMaster Afghanistan putsch.
So my hat’s off to you for your service. Were you in the famous McMaster tank battle?
If so, would love to see actual footage or photos. Especially of Saddam’s tank line up and defense. Not the written Afterward.
Nunberg is a numbnuts nothing, he’s not fit to wipe Drudge’s ass..he was shitcanned a long time ago for being a scumbag...
Matt Drudge is a friend of mine and a friend of ours...mind your manners...
Mattis is part of the Bush cabal? Tillerson? Dunford?
The problem about the “real video” is that you do not understand that in 1991, there were no GoPro cameras, satellites watching every battle, body cams, helmet cams, etc.
Men were too busy killing the enemy to provide new coverage for your video games or look good on CNN.
Any questions about McMaster, ask Fred Franks. I was called up but not forward for DS. I talked to men who were there when then LTG Franks returned to VIICorps Forward after seeing the aftermath of 73 Easting.
His comments to staff were; “Change your maps, Gentlemen. You have no idea what one Captain did with a few tanks, a few APCs, and a few men... but of course, he trained those men himself.”
Someone asked Franks about the Tawakalna (Division)? Franks answer: “Shot to shit by this captain with letters for a first name!”
Get over the BS spread by the NeverTrumpers. McMaster is 10 times the man you... or I.... will ever be.

I have no idea what the deal is about McMaster's politics in White House relationships, but there should be no doubt about his military credentials.
"During the Gulf War in 1991 he was a captain commanding Eagle Troop of the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment at the Battle of 73 Easting.[4] During that battle, though significantly outnumbered and encountering the enemy by surprise as McMaster's lead tank crested a dip in the terrain, the nine tanks of his company destroyed twenty-eight Iraqi Republican Guard tanks without loss in twenty-three minutes."
Hell yes!
One hell of a real man!
Did you ever read “Deriliction of Duty.” It’s McMaster’s book about LBJ and the JCS political BS in the early 60s, re: Vietnam?
It’s now required reading at USMA
First of all, I’m a girl.
Second of all, we were flying reconnaissance aircraft over Iraq all the time through the 90’s and there was significant satellite coverage.
The dearth of video or photographic evidence is... strange. Sorry.
I’ll PM you the rest.
Still, there should be photographs of the tank combat victory. But... nada.
Well put both of you. I concur.
Well this was written before Bannon was tossed, on August 14. But I see your point.
No, but I looked at it on Amazon when his name came up for Chairman. It looked quite interesting.
We had footage up soldier’s rear ends during Vietnam. Photos, footage of EVERYTHING.
Yet, when better cameras and video and better technology was happening in early 90’s... no iconic photos of these great tank battles?
I only say that because the docudrama footage, which contains a few actual photos, is paltry and pathetic and “staged” ala Matthew Brady in the Civil War.
I’m sorry, Miss, but as my old First Sergeant would say, “About the Art of Combat Arms, you don’t know S**t from Shineola.”
If any A/C had been around the battle, they would have been shooting at the enemy, not making Kodak Moments.
It’s not a big video game. Men in battle did not have time to make movies. There was no GoPro, Smartphone videos, no smartphones, body cams, etc. There was only ammunition, and bad guys with their heads blown off.
People were too busy “not getting killed” to give you new home movies.... and the way, they were doing that was by killing the other guy first, not telling him to “Say Cheese!”
Wake up to reality, little girl!
I was never really pizzed off about friends who had died, my wounds, (relatively minor as things go) 50,000 names on a wall.... until I read that book!
I’m still a USAR JAG on age waivers. Any time I’m at DA, they give me an office to work in, etc. I always ensure that book is front and center on my deak when some REMF comes in to tell me what we “really should be doing...”
All the current anti-McMaster BS is last gasps from the NeverTrumpers.
Thank you for the reminder of the Clancy book. I had long forgotten that section.
Be well.
You want a picture of the aftermath of the battle, from the Iraqi side?
WARNING: ADULT, NOT FOR BEDTIME OR SQUEAMISH!
Here ‘tis

P.S. That is what war really looks like, not like CNN.
I need to get it on the reading list, which is pretty deep at the moment. But I’ve already read enough about McNamara to know what a disaster he was. And I’ve been seen enough “Bobs” (Office Space reference) in the corporate world to know how bad McNamara’s Whiz Kids must have been to real warfighters.
LOL I’m for Bannon and was in it for Trump since day one, and strangely enough was reading Tom Clancy’s DEBT OF HONOR until 3 AM the evening of September 10, 2001... (you know the 1994 story about the pilot who takes out the Capitol building?)
I understand Clancy and also authors like Ambrose’s methodology during interviews.
Clancy’s book about McMaster’s tank battle does not suffice for a photograph, just one clip out of a video or one photographer who was imbedded there.
But this isn’t the point of this post.
The point of this post is that the Deep State GOPe Cabal has now pushed Trump into Afghanistan, as per McMaster.
Crazy bad for POTUS.
No I want a photo of the tank battle.
I want to see how many functional tanks Saddam actually had against ours.
You know, the way Clancy and other media like COURAGE UNDER FIRE described these epic tank battles, but were FICTION?
