How does one spell “baseball” with a lisp?

Supposedly, girls want to be boys, and boys want to be girls...which of course is a bunch of equine excrement, promoted by idiot parents and assorted Leftist radicals. One day, common sense must prevail, or the Big Guy upstairs will solve the whole thing for us.

"While all sound-minded Americans await the start of college football season and the NFL"

Uh, no offense - but that isn't my definition of a "sound mind". I haven't watched football or any sports for that matter since Vietnam.

Never saw the interest in what really amounts to a kid's game by oafs who weren't suited for anything else.

Now that we have brainless, overpaid gerbils showing disrespect to our National Anthem, I know that my original assessment was correct.

No girls because the teams are most often composed of the all-stars chosen from the teams that competed in the local little league. Girls have a difficult time competing with boys at 11-13 years of age.

Because the little girls are playing fast pitch softball.....Which begs the question, why aren’t there little boys on girl’s fast pitch softball teams?

During that time, and in spite of the fact that one in seven U.S. Little League players is a girl

That number varies throughout the country. Here in Columbus, we take our Little League seriously (winners, Little League World Series, 2005, Numerous state championships).

We have three local leagues for spring ball that I am familiar with: Pioneer, American and Northern. Each league has 6 to 10 teams, each with 11 or 12 players. MAYbe, two or three girls show up ... at C Ball (5-8 year olds). You get one or two at B ball. By the time the kids are in A ball and you don't automatically make a roster, the girls who actually want to play ball play girls' softball. Columbus had the #3 girls' softball team as well in 2014 or so. I have seen some exceptional girl talent at the C ball level, but biology eventually takes over. Some of the girls at C ball also didn't act like they wanted to be there. I suppose the boys could theoretically insist on joining the girls' softball team these days. That would be a said day for all.

Anyone who watches the Little League World Series will appreciate hugely the level of baseball skill, and sportsmanship, in the teams that make it to that level. Any true lover of the sport can see that some of those kids are just outstanding.

Obviously, if as many girls as boys WANTED to play in the Little League AND had the acumen for it, there would be more girls on more teams.

One can only hope and pray that no one is able to FORCE the Little League teams to be 50/50 boys and girls, just to satisfy diversity statistical police.

“in spite of the fact that one in seven U.S. Little League players is a girl”

My husband is the president of our local Little League. This stat is misleading because under the under the umbrella of Little League, there is Little League Baseball and Little League (girls) Softball. So if you count those softball teams perhaps 1 in 7 is a girl (I still doubt the numbers). In every league he has been involved with, there are typically 1-3 girls and 200-500 boys playing baseball.

We saw this in ice hockey in the months leading up to the 2014 Winter Olympics.

The U.S. Women's National Team played several scrimmage games against some high school boys hockey teams in Minnesota and Wisconsin. I think they ended up going 2-2 in four games.

That pretty much says it all. A team comprised of the top female hockey players in the nation is comparable in talent to a decent boys high school hockey team.

There's something pathological about this fixation a lot of people have on seeing women try to "prove themselves" in areas of life where they will simply never be comparable to men.

I never saw any Eskimos at the LLWS either...Also, they discriminate against the state of Vermont, too. (Vermont never got to the LLWS yet, one of the few states that never won a regional).

They discriminate against transkids, too..😀
