A course has been slated to start this fall at Stanford University that looks (among other things) at the perils and possibilities of different political practices,” according to the course description, “including abolishing whiteness or coming to terms with white identity.” And yes, it sounds like a joke, but it is apparently a very real course:

Pundits proclaim that the 2016 Presidential election marks the rise of white identity politics in the United States. Drawing from the field of whiteness studies and from contemporary writings that push whiteness studies in new directions, this upper-level seminar asks, does white identity politics exist? How is a concept like white identity to be understood in relation to white nationalism, white supremacy, white privilege, and whiteness? We will survey the field of whiteness studies, scholarship on the intersection of race, class, and geography, and writings on whiteness in the United States by contemporary public thinkers, to critically interrogate the terms used to describe whiteness and white identities. Students will consider the perils and possibilities of different political practices, including abolishing whiteness or coming to terms with white identity. What is the future of whiteness?

If they “abolish whiteness”, who the hell is going to work and pay the taxes? Everyone else has gone into the “free stuff” mode. The government will go broke.

In many countries around the world, socialists team up with minorities to challenge the dominant, level-headed majority party. The socialists think they can make appeals based on identity-politics and that it’s not fair for the other side to do this.
For example, in India, the originally socialist, now merely left-of-center Congress Party appeals to Muslims, Sikhs and Christians. Yet, what does the secularist agenda of the progressive left have to do with Islam, Sikhism or Christianity? Modi and the Hindu Party are now making appeals to religious and ethnic minorities on the basis that shared interests in a healthy economy, a strong India, and upholding traditional values. It is also appealing to Hindus on the same basis. This why the Hindu Party is doing so well.
We are seeing this rebound of identity politics in various ways across the democracies of the world. It’s playing out differently in the U.S., than it is in Germany or Norway, and yet differently in Canada and France.
We all know that “white” and “black” are social constructs, or a way of life. “White” means self-responsible, working, patriotism, upholding the family and other traditional values. “Black” means welfare, drugs and blaming others for your shortcomings. Black Lives Matters says moochers and looters matter. In fact, more than people who are so stupid that they figured out how to play the game, and keep on working instead of looking for the first opportunity to sue somebody.
The other side is upping the rhetoric because they know they have no real hold on the minorities. After the minorities figure out they’re being played for fools by the progressive left, they join with us. We already know that yellow is the new white. And what is currently a trickle from other minorities will turn into a stream.
Dentists everywhere are scrambling for yellow tooth enamel or would that be considered racist?
The education(?) system has been almost totally corrupted by the Marxist (Democrat) ideology. Dumb subjects are controllable subjects.
How about a class on abolishing uppity negroes or whiney faggots?

Obviously this does not mean “abolish whiteness.” The background of this text box is white. The napkin on the table is white. Clouds are white.
So what do they mean? Easy. Take all of Whitey’s money and give it to non-Whitey. Eliminate Whitey. Replace Whitey with any non-Whitey that happens to be available, such as m*slims. In that order.
When I was a kid white was a color. In physics class I learned that white was actually a blend of all visible colors and that black was the absence of color. As a seasoned adult I’m told that white is an adjective applied to some humans and that it means hateful, prejudiced and deceitful. It means that a person exploits others and delights in keeping them down. It refers to slaveowners and colonialists. It designates those individuals who mowed down the native inhabitants and stole their land. I’m none of those things and I resent the implication.
I need to look into companies that build tanning booths. Seems like an investment opportunity with white people mandated to become brown people.
The follow up investment is obviously Dermatology clinics for the resulting melanomas.
I suggest we ban Stanford University for even having such ideas.
That is where the killin’ begins. They force labor and those who refuse get the re-ed camp or the death sentence.
Perhaps one of the few good things to come out of the liberal infestation at Stanford and other universities will be the total bastardization of all non STEM degrees. It is no longer hard to believe that your typical STEM student probably knows more history than the low T idiots throwing their parent’s money into the street for worthless degrees. A high school geek is now capable of programming robots to outperform your typical SJW idiot in the silly jobs they are capable of.
So now that every white conservative, GOP, Trump supporter is therefore a deplorable racist for merely breathing, after Charoletesville, I think I know how we will be able to tell sides in the upcoming CW2. 1968 all over again
I can’t wait for those genes to reactivate.
