Like they say, when it rains it pours.
Had to retire this year because of a recurring injury. Now I've had to spend over $1200 in the last week for surgeries on both my cats. Louie had to have 5 rotten teeth extracted and Snooki developed a wound abscess after Louie bit her.
Looks likes it time to take out health insurance for my furbabies. Mom has to rely on Cobra til Medicare kicks in. Another headache but oh, well:)
Sorry about your kitties, and I hope they’re both better soon. Our Jake has problems with his teeth, too. Our vet took several out while he was sedated to be stitched up after a fight.
Father God, in the Name of Jesus I pray for Catmom’s furbabies, that you would heal them of all their ailments and restore them to youthful health. Lord Jesus, You placed animals upon this Earth not only for us to enjoy and marvel at Your Creation, but to also reflect Your Love for us—in which is a life-long unconditional love, but from You is an eternal Love.
Thank You, Jesus, and we love and magnify Your Holy Name,
Amen.
Love cats...prayers
Maybe you should find the biter a new home. There are other wonderful people such as yourself out there who would give him a loving home. Best wishes. Katy
Boy -O Boy are you an arse.
We just lost our 17 yr old Peekapoo to a stroke, our 4 year old Moarkie mourned him so much and we missed Stan too, we waited a couple of months and rescued a 3 yr old Shitz, so well mannered and quite we think she was a surrender, not a stray, already had been spayed, house/crate trained. She has to get use to a new name as none was listed for her.
Prayers up for your kitties.
Animal lover too! Our 2 older cats are outside for their morning ramble. Last summer our 18 year old had all her teeth removed except for 4 & yes, it is a huge hit to the wallet.
Prayers for your furbabies and for you. Hang in there until your insurance kicks in. Your babies are blessed to have you.
Thank you.
Thank you for your sweet prayer.
Thank you for your mutual love of kitties!
I know you’re going for the bad boy/cool guy vibe, but it’s not working. I’m betting no cat, no dog, e& no woman to take up your time or money.
Now scurry back to your mom’s basement, have a cheetoh snack & type away d*ck.
I’m afraid you’re right. I love Louie very much and it would hurt to give him up but I like having more than one cat and if he can’t behave he’ll have to go where he’s sure to be the only cat. We’ll both be happier in the long run.
What a cute image!
Thanks for posting this.
You sound like an awesome Dogmom!
Thank you!
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
Have you considered getting a prophylactic antibiotic shot for the cat who is being bitten by the one with toxic-waste teeth? That would help prevent one of your expensive issues: it’s cheaper to avoid an infection than treat a developed one.
Prayers lifting ma’am, for you and your fur babies.
And just a thought - if you discussed it with them, might your vet be willling to be paid on an installment plan of a sort?
