The drought has been lifted, for almost half a decade, the long-standing 22 Lone Rifle ammunition is finally behind us.
Wal-Mart announced this internally that any and all restrictions on purchasing 22 ammo in bulk have been removed. Up until about a year ago, 22LR was reasonably difficult to find in both bulk and inexpensively.
Shared across Facebook and other social media, the new policy was announced to managers, loss prevention, and sales clerks. The new policy is a welcome change, especially for this in more rural areas where Wal-Mart was the major store, if not only, purveyors of ammunition.
By the announcement, the policy applies to any and all types of 22LR ammunition including bulk packs, match loads, and specialized rounds. Read the rest of the 22LR drought story here.
Pretty sure that I have a lifetime supply.
Pretty sure that I have a lifetime supply.
“Pretty sure that I have a lifetime supply.”..........
One can NEVER have enough ammunition, especially now!
Anybody know what a 550 brick costs now? :-)
BLOAT
Still not available ever at my local Wally...
What Planet?
I think a lot of people do. ;-)
I hear that scientists are pretty close to being able to extend lifespans, so you’ll have to buy more.
At least that’s my excuse.
Our Walmart still has a sign up saying they are out of .22. It’s been there for years.
Bricks still sell out immediately at my local Walmart. Any manufacturer that has surplus should send it to Alaska. A million bricks would be gone in no time up here.
Yeah, they have had CCI Mini-Mags the last several times I was over there.
No limit in Monument, CO.
Another win and Mikey BloomingIdiot (not to be confused with Richard BloomingIdiot) is so so upset. Good...

I think the Remington 555 bulk boxes got for about $24. But, you shouldn’t be paying any more than 4¢ per round. At least, I don’t.
At Wal-Mart here in Poway now ...
Will give a full report.
SoCal is Out of .22 LR!
