One of Donald Trumps most generous political benefactors is providing a six-figure donation to a super PAC devoted to unseating Sen. Jeff Flake, an Arizona Republican who has been fiercely critical of the president.
Robert Mercer, a reclusive hedge fund billionaire who was intimately involved in Trumps rise and helped to bankroll his 2016 campaign, is contributing $300,000 to a super PAC supporting former state Sen. Kelli Ward, who is challenging Flake in a Republican primary next year.
Its the latest sign that Trumps political machine is preparing to take on Flake, whose persistent attacks have angered the president. The White House has met with Ward and two other Republicans who are mulling primary challenges to the Arizona senator, state Treasurer Jeff DeWit and former state GOP Chairman Robert Graham.

I would take it they were meeting to decide whom to back?

That sounds like a fabulous idea; I might just drive out to Arizona for a week or two and work on the campaign of who*ever* is running against Flake!

Would like nothing more than to see Flake taken down, but not sure if Kelli Ward is the one to do it.

"if theyre not knocked out in the primaries a large part of the Republican base will stay home on general election day - that should give the party apparatus the choice of assisting in removing these under-cover-Democrats in the primary or losing the seat in the fall election."
Trump is flushing out all the Rinos and Undocumented Democratic plants in Congress!
President Trump and we have to get rid of Undocumented Democrats posing as Republicans in congress!

Kelli Ward should be able to beat Flake: McCain only got 51% against her in the 2016 primary, his poorest performance ever.
Trump beat Hillary by 4.1% in Arizona, with Johnson and Stein combining for another 4.1% - there’s apparently a large whackjob population there...

The time is NOW to go get ARIZONA in the R column.
How far to the right our candidates can go, in AZ, and actually be successful and win, is a question, but this is our chance!

Huge influx of illegals. We do have to show ID, but fake IDs are big business for the illegal voting crowd (otherwise known as Democrats)

Would be great if Flake gets primaried out. That would send a message to these RINO’s in the Senate.
To: cotton1706
Fantastic news. Glad Mercer chose Ward to back.
