It’s our new technology sharing program with NK.
But we aren’t into “nation building”. heh
Basically, McGavin is asking, what do we do, let them Nuke Los Angeles?
Unfortunately, the answer is yes. We have to let them do something stupid. We can’t just initiate war. Perhaps they will be dumb enough to just bomb Guam, and that will be the excuse, but it does matter if we start it or they do. Their nukes would have to be eliminated, completely. And again, I say, you don’t do that with cruise missiles. It’s a ground war.
But they’ve been saying they will Nuke an American city, and some people believe them. Those people are asking, why should we sacrifice our Cities and all those lives because we didn’t heed the warnings of a mad man?
Not nearly. Invite all of Seoul to a “summer holiday’ some 60 miles to the South. Should be able to move a sizable fraction out in 12 to 24 hours. Cut the casualties down considerably. Or should we just watch Kim nuke Seattle or LA?
Mark me down in the Bob Lee Swagger solution column.
The poster only posts an article but never returns.
Each successor seems more mad than the previous.
But it still seems worth the risk. Better than the alternatives
“Or should we just watch Kim nuke Seattle or LA?”
Choices...choices...choices.
Careful. I really po’d some CA freepers with a similar observation a few weeks ago.
Have you been to the Korean peninsula or anywhere in Asia to see how densely packed the population is? You don't move 10,000,000 people in 12 or 24 hours. Would need way more than that. That would also send a signal to Kimmie boy that the US is getting ready to attack him and cause him to launch early to kill as many as possible before the U.S. can hit him.
Or should we just watch Kim nuke Seattle or LA?
Not saying that at all, your either/or proposition presents a false set of choices. Not biting on either.
