The Bible has all manner of politics in it so why try to divorce it from politics? Why should one relegate it to the home unless one is ashamed of it?
A shining city on a hill should put the Bible on the hill too. Yes, hypocrites will misuse it but at some point one has to take a stand and that is especially true when the Bible itself is under attack.
So...looking at this from a secular viewpoint (as a rhetorical exercise), the mainstream media isn’t on board with philosophy in general. Studying scriptures or studying writings from the Antiquities (philosophy being one) share many parallels.
