It’s ON!!! Judiciary Committee Votes to investigate Clinton, Comey and Lynch!

At long last there is a chance that some kind of investigation will be held into the crimes committed by high level Democrats not just in the run up to the election, but also spreading further back to the “Russian Uranium” scandal.

Judiciary Committee Republicans voted 16 to 13 to start gathering documents with a view to assigning a second Special Counsel. The focus of the investigation is to be Hillary Clinton, Loretta Lynch and James Comey, and there are a lot of questions that need answering. As Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.), said “We have a lot more than a blue dress now.”

The call for an investigation appears to have been a fairly secretive plan. The Democrats seemed shocked to realize that they had just played into the Republican’s hands and ended up in a Committee that they hadn’t planned on.

House Judiciary Committee votes to probe Comey and Clinton's 2016 campaign
WaPo - July 26, 2017

But the amendment passed, and the altered resolution passed on a 16-13 partisan vote, giving it a chance to be approved by the House.

House conservatives push for a probe of Comey and Clinton campaign
WaPo - July 25, 2017

All in relation to H.Res. 446

The vote an the amendment was straight on party line. H.Res. 446 isn't going to pass. I doubt the House even takes it up.

List of GOP and DEM Members. There are more than 13 DEMs, but all of them would have voted against the amendment.

Thank you for that information re Mueller. Anything that gives even a hint of oversight on Mueller is a very good thing.

My reaction exactly. What is this about “republicans voted 16 to 13”? 13 demonrats? Who voted for what.

As for Gowdy, he will act all indignant and raise his voice in volume and pitch and ask not really that clever questions. And then, not a damn thing will happen.

>>>Yes!

And the GOP voters are given some opioids to make them forget we are screwing them at every turn. Will anything come of this? Well, no...but we will hold hearings and the faithful will shout "YES!!!l" and vote for us again.

Give me a break. Wake me up when one of these "hearings" actually does something besides convince the voting base we must give them one more chance so they can actually accomplish something "next time." I'm sick and tired of being rope-a-doped by my own party.

Yep. Bread and circuses. Throwing the base a bone after giving them the bone.

I’d be interested in who those 13 Republicans are who voted against it—and what their explanations are.

If it’s a legit investigation, Bill, Chelsea, Eric, Susan, Valerie, podesta, and who knows maybe crying chucky and Nancy will get dragged in too. Did I miss anyone?

The law of unintended consequences smacks them in the face again...the Comey, Lynch and Clinton ties go to HSBC bank as well...

Since this is NOT Russia related, Sessions can go appoint whoever he wants... perhaps even Rudy Giuliani.

They should appoint Judicial Watch as Special Investigator, they seem to be the only ones that ever give us any information that the ruling class continues to cover up.

What documents?

You know, the same (type of) documents the committee could NEVER dig up, the FBI required 10yrs+ to sort through....but Judicial Watch could gather w/ a few court cases and FOIA requests.

“Judicial Watch as Special Investigator” — Now THAT is an absolutely brilliant idea. Maybe they could hire O’Keefe as a lead investigator.

It seems that when congress starts these kinds of investigations that the real purpose is to gather all the information and then bury it. Sad, but true.
