Agreed with his analysis of the media right from the get-go; it was well done. Look back over the responses if you’ve forgotten.
I also addressed in detail the substance of where his analysis is flawed. He does not understand Trump or Trump supporters. Beck postulates from the citadel of his own belief system. Beck is unable to grasp the points of view of of those whose ideas are different and he invents, as you do, caricatures that he can use as straw-men for his arguments.
I pity him because no rational person will forget his excesses and irrationality during this election cycle.
Sorry but I’m not interested in continuing this dialog since it becomes monotonous. I am sorry for Glen Beck but reasoned argument reaches neither Beck nor you.

What part of that is not understanding the Trump supporters? They are hurting and they think nobody is listening (except Trump), and that's why they supported him. I think that's pretty much right on target. What do you think the reason is?
Yes, many conservatives supported him because of teh border and tax cuts and repealing 0bamacre (whcih isn't doing too well), but the "average" Trump supporter isn't ideological, isn't a member of a "tribe." He or she is a working person trying to get by and not making it. The immigration views resonate because illegals are taking jobs that could be theirs. They're interested in bringing jobs back (so they can get a well-paying job to support their families), not in the ins and outs of healthcare policy. Just make it affordable.

Au contraire. Glenn Beck has gone out of his way to talk to and understand people with very different points of view. He talks to a wide range of people -- conservatives of various stripes, progressives, libertarians, atheists, religious people of various kinds -- to understand their views. he may not agree with them, and that' fine, but he's gone out of his way to understand where they'e coming from, to understand them and have them understand him. That's why he's reached out to the likes of Penn Jillette, Riaz Patel, and so many others.
That doesn't mean he doesn't understand the dangers of the left -- I think he understands them better than most. That doesn't mean you can't get along.
