My opinion is that these persons “de-registering” themselves are probably person who were not eligible to register and vote in the first place, and seeing how Pres. Trump’s administration has gone after illegal aliens, figured they had better get out of the way of the Commission on voter fraud.

Or, they have been fudging the rolls for so long and they know they can't afford to have any authority looking into it all for fear that massive illegalities will be made quite apparent.
