It has been slooooooooooooooooow for months and months.

During election season, it was almost impossible to follow many of the LIVE threads because FR was so unresponsive.

It has been sluggish even since the ‘fix’ following that major crash (4-5 days, IIRC) during the last FReepathon.

Management seems to ignore the issue every time it is brought up in a vanity thread. That could be part of the reason FReepathons take nearly 3 months to complete.

Ditto Tom that’s exactly when the problem started- and it hasn’t been fixed since then- last election- it happened right after the server went down- before then FR was very responsive- fast- after that i have to refresh several times to get a page to load the comments- and even then sometimes only a portion of them load- I guess that’s the new norm here- Yup- cut my page results down to 20- didn’t help much

Same here for me using Safari. It was fine during the campaign season, even with my preferences set at 100. But it's been slooow ever since the latest new system upgrade, even with clean caches, restarts, etc.

Still the best news site around. Just saying.
