Chicago’s city council currently has 49 Democrats and 1 Republican.
The mayor is a Democrat.
The city clerk is a Democrat.
The city treasurer is a Democrat.
The last time Chicago elected a Republican mayor was in the year 1927.
During the recent fourth of July weekend in Chicago, 102 people were shot.
15 of those people were killed.
We don’t see anything like this in any of the U.S. cities that are controlled by Republicans.
Let them eat their own.

If the city council were to impeach or otherwise get rid of the republican they could turn the ChiTown into a paradise. It’s that wascally wepublican that is holding them back.

I don’t want to see violence in the big cities stopped.
That many fewer scum bags for the rest of us to deal with.
There is another common factor that I can’t quite put my finger on.

I agree there should be federally funded range time and also have them quit trying to shoot a pistol sideways. Aim for center mass holding the pistol correctly.
Unfortunately, the last Republican Mayor of Chicago, Big Bill Thompson, was no treasure. He was a puppet of the mobs, including Capone. Of course, then the mobs just shifted their support to the Democrats after his defeat.
