Obama hold-over Ambassador Paul W. Jones tried to sabotage Trump’s trip to Poland according to diplomatic sources.
Jones attempted to mislead the Trump advance team to believe that the Polish people still love former Polish President Lech Walesa and to hold extensive meetings and photo ops with him.
Despite Walesa’s historical achievements during Solidarity, numerous scandals since that time including accusations of his work as a Communist collaborator have altered views of Lech Walesa in Poland. At this point, Lech Walesa has fallen out of favor with much of Poland, and the current Law and Justice Party, which welcomed President Trump to Warsaw.
In the end, President Trump simply made a diplomatic reference to President Walesa during the speech. However, even this bipartisan gesture set forth a flurry of scathing reports in far-left blogs such as Politico. Paul W. Jones was an avid Hillary Clinton supporter, and held a Hillary Victory Party on the night of the election at the Warsaw Westin hotel, and in the past has been dismissive and condescending to the Polish government.
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has not yet appointed a new Ambassador to Poland.
Yup, That’s what my Trump to Tillerson msg says.
Tillerson better get with the program. Or Bye Bye!
Oh, it's worse than that. Obama holdovers are masters of dysfunction and slowness. They were put there so that their agencies would obstruct everything, not attempt to do anything competently.

Jones is a career foreign service officer. He can be removed as Ambassador but can remain in the State Department.

I heard her speak in an interview and the ‘ummmm...ummmmmm...ummm’ and the ‘you know blah blah blah you know....you know’ made in this horrific monotone honk voice me think she had been dropped as a baby.
