The Resurgent, a blog run by Never Trump pundit Erick Erickson, has published its first hit piece on Deep State cheerleader Evan McMullin, ending a nearly 3/4-year bromance between Erickson and the failed spoiler candidate in 2016s presidential election. Watch the evolution of The Resurgents McMullin coverage in 10 headlines from the site too conservative to support Donald Trump in his ultimately successful fight against Hillary Clinton:

I’d love to know how many in FR voted for McMullin. My guess is that of the posters I see in the foreign policy threads, probably quite a few.
I always new this guy was a fraud.
McMullin had taped GOP leaders private conversations when he was working as GOP Congressional aide and last month leaked first round of leaks. Remember audio leak of Paul Ryan on Russia and Trump.
Eric is GOP establishment.
McMullin is a YUGE friend of Romney. Just want to point that out.
I love just knowing that any so called conservative Never Trumpers are wallowing in their own filth.
Are we to seriously believe that THIS guy was going to be the salvation of the GOP? Really?
If I don't know who he is, remind me again how the rest of the nation was going to step up and vote for this guy over Trump?
Why is he getting any news coverage at all anyway?
The whole point of running McMuffin was to draw votes away from Trump.
It’s not Erickson who wrote the piece. It is Chris Queen.
I voted Trump. Would never support the pillsbury dough boy who spent time with the CIA
“Erick Erickson”... a blast from the dustbin of history.
Shocked that he’s still in business.
These two horses a$$e$ deserve one another. One a sleaze crook and the other the epitome of establishment, Rockefeller, country club liberal Republicanism. A pox on both their houses!
Ericson will go the route of Smerconish. They fooled a lot of people paying lip service to conservatism, but once their true colors are revealed they turn out to be flaming liberal squishes.
