When I was younger I thought he was a modern saviour. I found,in reality, his hands are stained with the slaughter of Armenian,Greek and Assyrian Christians who were butchered in the most horrible manner possible, including crucifixtion. Theit crime was they were Christian and non-Turk. He started Turkey on the road to its racist Turkish “Republic”. The only good Turk is dead or shoved back to the deserts of central Asia which spawned them.

It’s never too late. One of the purposes of the press is to create defeatism amongst patriots. The actual number of Pelosi/Warren/Clinton-style progressives in the US is very small. They are heavily outnumbered by conservatives. The Press makes it seem otherwise. Most of the people who voted for Hillary are not radical lefties. They voted for a myriad of reasons. Never believe that our cause is lost. That’s the enemy speaking. They infiltrate our sites to spread apathy.

Ataturk was certainly an interesting and enigmatic figure of those times

His religious views again very enigmatic, the biographies that I have read make a pretty convincing case that he was an atheist, if he had any religious belief in “something larger then himself” it was Turkish nationalism. He did make the statement that ‘ he wished his people were Christian then they would be easier to govern’. He was very contemptuous of Islam as he found it practiced during his lifetime. Also he was probably not even a native Turk but a Balkan - a Macedonian.

Having spent several months living in Ankara, Turkey and working with the Kemalist Army and National Police, I had a chance to learn a lot about Ataturk. He was a combination of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. Just like Washington, there were several attempts to assassinate him, and like Washington, he sometimes just looked the assassin in the eye and they gave up.

So it became clear that Abba Father YHWH raised him up for the purpose of creating a secular Turkish state to bridge the 100 years between the fall of the Ottoman Empire, and the Tribulation. Now that we are so close to the end, that restraint is no longer necessary for the Plan.

Methinks it’s spot on (although you would get some disagreement from the mullahs and the Crown).

The thing I don’t get is that Turks are taught the history of Ataturk, and now they are saddled with a sultan wannabe who thinks he can restore the caliphate.

Chinese also turned from being a nation in terminal decline in the 19th century to complete renewal in the 20th century

Water seeks its own level. Attaturk pushed Turkey into the modern world but they are cheerfully rushing back to what they were.
