A 64-year-old man by the name of Ramadan Abdullah has been arrested in Broome County, New York, after police found a massive weapons cache in a storage unit under his ownership.
Police in Broome County said that Ramadan Abdullah had been arrested on May 31st when he was caught shoplifting ammo from a local sporting goods store. Afterwards, police obtained a search warrant of Abdullahs storage unit and recovered a large amount of ammunition, including .50 caliber armor piercing incendiary rounds, high-powered rifles and various handguns.
Broome County District Attorney Steve Cornwell, New York State Police, SIU and Johnson City Police Chief Brent Dodge on Wednesday announced details of a major weapons bust in Broome County, resulting in the arrest of one man and the seizure of numerous weapons.Abdullahs weapons cache wasnt isolated to a single storage unit, however, as police executed subsequent search warrants on other properties owned by the suspect, which resulted in additional seizures."They did a great job of asking him very specific questions about the ammunition he had stolen and what weapons that may go to. He gave them some answers that were inconsistent with their in-depth knowledge of weapons which set off further red flags for them," said Johnson City Police Chief Brent Dodge.
In a news conference, authorities said Ramadan Abdullah, 64, has been charged the following:
- Four counts, criminal possession of a weapon, second degree, class C felony - Criminal possession of a weapon, third degree, class D felony - Criminal possession of stolen property, fifth degree, class A misdemeanor
Officials said that Abdullah was arrested by Johnson City police on May 31 for shoplifting ammunition from Gander Mountain. According to the Broome County District Attorney's Office, when a search warrant was executed on Abdullah's storage unit in the town of Union, the following items were recovered:
- Four loaded handguns - Eight assault weapons - 64 high-capacity ammunition feeding devices - One loaded shotgun - Two rifles
- Thousands of rounds of ammunition for rifles, pistols and assault weapons, including .50 caliber armor piercing incendiary rounds, numerous firearm parts and flak jackets.
According to the DA's office, search warrants were also executed at additional properties tied to Abdullah, resulting in the seizure of:Political correctness aside, simply considering the name of suspect, Ramadan Abdullah, and the fact police confirmed he left the country (prior to being arrested), in addition to the amount of caches/weapons he had stored, there should be an obvious concern for the suspect being part of a larger terror cell operating in the United States.- Numerous rounds of .38 caliber ammunition - High-capacity ammunition feeding devices and ammunition - An additional loaded firearm
The New York State Police released the following specific information regarding the firearms.

- H&K USP Compact Pistol, .357 SIG caliber, semi-auto pistol, with laser (loaded) - Browning Arms, 9mm caliber, semi-auto pistol w/laser (loaded) - Browning Arms Company , .22 caliber semi-auto pistol (loaded) - Glock Model 30, 45ACP caliber, semi-auto pistol w/laser (loaded) - COP Inc, Four barrel pistol, 38 Special / 357 Magnum caliber (loaded)

State Police would not reveal if they believe Abdullah was connected to any terror groups.Although Abdullah is now behind bars, several questions remain. The sheer amount of weapons and ammo he was storing is enough to arm multiple people, so what was his ultimate plan for these arms? Is he operating independently, or part of a wider terrorist cell that is stockpiling firearms for a future attack? How many more of these individuals have storage containers full of powerful weapons around the country?"That is still under investigation. We do believe he has left the country. We have information to indicate that. As far as his affiliation with other groups, that is being investigated, we do have cooperation with federal authorities on that," said NYSP Major James Barnes.
According to officials, Abdullah was sent to the Broome County Jail to wait for arraignment.
As pictured below, it wasn't just a few hunting rifles and handguns that the suspect was storing. Instead, it appears to be a serious arsenal of firearms to be used in a variety of different situations, including the possibility of disabling vehicles with the .50 cal armor-piercing incendiary rounds.
Considering that political correctness has been injected to nearly every aspect of law enforcement and journalism, we may never hear another word regarding this story, let alone uncover the answers to these important questions.
I cant imagine Ramadan Abdullah simply being a 2nd Amendment activist, part of a patriotism-inspired militia or an avid hunter. Although political correctness would dictate that we must not jump to conclusions based on name, race or religion its common to sense to connect similarities between past terror incidents and possible future attacks.
It certainly wouldnt be the first time an American citizen was radicalized after taking a trip overseas.
QUESTION? If this terrorist lived in NYC, would he be given sanctuary and be set free?
Risk/Reward analysis does not compute.
I had a co-worker back in the 1980’s who had twice that much in his smallest closet, much less the rest of the house.
Shoot him at dawn
Why is Ramadan Abdullah in this country ?!
Get him, and them, OUT !

Massive cache? LMAO
What kind of stupid idiot shoplifts ammo?
I am guessing he was a collector. Why? Because no two weapons are alike. If he was planning something nefarious, he would buy weapons that are alike.
I think people would be shocked and amazed at what they’d find if a search was conducted on the many storage units across the land that are rented to people with middle-easterner sounding names.
God works in mysterious ways.
I POSTED THIS INFO ON THREE OR FOUR OTHER THREADS IN THE PAST WEEK.
LOL. No one even replied back to me. This is in the district I live in, Southern Tier (Upstate) NY.
Where’s the .50 caliber rifle?
Where’s the .50 caliber rifle?
Well, an AR-7 is not an “assault weapon,” nor is an M1A, by anybody’s standards, and I doubt any of the other guns were either, except cosmetically. What I wonder about is the .50 BMG AP/Incendiary, since there was no .50 cal rifle or MG mentioned as being found. And why were the guns loaded? Most were in a storage bin, after all.
Nice little collection he had there.
Wouldn’t mind having the H&K .357 SIG myself... :)
The Glock 30 would be nice to have too.
They can have the rest of the “junk”.
Hubby said he may not have had the ID to purchase some ammo. And he is a cheap azz muzzie terrorist.
I think, but I am not sure, that in NY now you have to jump through hoops for certain ammo purchases.

That’s why I have all mine shipped to my other house in PA.
As Chong of Cheech and Chong would say, “That’s some good shit”.
This guy was out for some serious hunting of Christians and Jews, cops and other law enforcement personnel.
Since he only has two arms, he obviously cannot use them all at one time. Wonder what he was going to do with the rest? Hmmmmm!!!
I’ll bet that the FBI were purposely not involved...
