About 4 miles...Rodeo Rd. is just south of the 10 freeway.
Rodeo Dr. is virtually due north of it.
It only has a left lane and it goes nowhere but looks really great from a distance.
“Obama Boulevard”. That is going to be a “rough road to ho”.
So? The Times has those recordings, and as I said in the rest of my post.
Obama Boulevard....it must be a dead end!
Some where in South Central for him and one in Watts for her.
Rodeo Road--not to be confused with Rodeo Drive, about eight miles away--is just like MLK Blvd. and has been that way since the sixties.
WOW Major tourist attraction
When part of Sunset Blvd. was renamed Avenida Cesar Chavez, some merchants with businesses on the street were quite furious.
A few years ago, I got off at the wrong Martin Luther King exit in Indianapolis. I immediately knew I as lost and in wrong place...
Fortunately, I found a police officer...He said “You don’t belong here.” Boy was that an understatement! He helped direct me out of the area!
I sort of get the idea that the businesses on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills are going to lobby hard against this, because the confusion between the two streets will only ruin their brand.
“... because it would be a fitting addition to what is known in his district as ‘presidents row.’ They are a succession of streets named for three of the countrys founding fathers George Washington, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson. “
BO isn’t a Founding Father.
Furthermore, BO isn’t fit to shine their shoes.
Poor sick bastards
In 20 years historians will look upon the 0bama presidency as a brown skid mark on America’s underwear.
(brown doesn’t equate to skin color)
