We will all remember the beginning of the end for Planned Parenthood as the day they tried to install pro-abortion warrior Jon Ossoff in Congress, but ended up being referendumed instead
If the truth, rather than media propaganda got to tell the story, this is what really went down in Tuesdays special Georgia election:
Planned Parenthood poured big money in trying to elect Democrat pro-abortion crusader Jon Ossoff to Congress in Tuesdays special election in Georgiabut ended up instead aborting aborting his election chances.
The states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for abortion purposes.
In fact, using broad language, a previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting Supreme Court justices had clarified limits of the feds powers as evidenced by the following excerpts.
Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.
The Left doesn’t care about those provisions.
The multitude of ads against Karen Handel touting PP clients was laughable. A very, very ugly female medical doctor spoke about PP saving her life from breast cancer. There was also one ad with about 5 women speaking about the benefits of finding their breast cancer at PP. All lies. PP apparently did nothing more than “breast exams” which any idiot can do herself or in today’s world, himself. No mammograms and yet that was NEVER raised in ads against that campaign praising PP...
Given the Left is now losing its credibility imo, please consider the following.
As evidenced by their voting muscle in electing President Trump, whats important concerning unconstitutional federal funding for abortion is what pro-life taxpayers think about the clarifications of the feds constitutionally limited powers.
If the Dem “victory” was to come close after 30 million spent, how can they and the media be taken seriously
