Competition in business was invented in USA and that is what made America great. If consumers have a choice (unlike in Venezuela or Cuba) they will decide which grocery store succeeds.

Stores like Aldi & IKEA are succeeding because they are competing against stores which consumers do not like.

Low profit margin US companies are at a huge disadvantage when invading foreign companies are subsidized by governments:
