Trump Attorney Won't Rule Out Firing Mueller
Politico ^ | June 11, 2017

One of President Donald Trump’s attorneys on Sunday wouldn't rule out the possibility the president would fire the special counsel appointed to look into his campaign’s potential ties to Russia.

“Look, the president of the United States, as we all know, is a unitary executive,” Sekulow said on ABC’s “This Week.” “But the president is going to seek the advice of his counsel and inside the government as well as outside. And I'm not going to speculate on what he will, or will not, do.”

More fake News from Politco Liars inc.

Sekulow said it on TV right in front of God and everybody.

Fake news just means that you don't like it?

I don’t see anything wrong with what Sekulow said. I wished
Sessions would withdraw his recusal since it was based on a false premise. He should do it without warning and demand to see everything.

Unfortunately, firing Mueller would be treated in the media like Nixon’s “Saturday Night Massacre.” Mueller deserves to be fired but it would be a PR disaster for the President.

Unnecessarily defensive and contentious reply. Why?

How about it was a stupid and "gotcha" kind of question? How is Sekulow supposed to know? If he had said. "no", and Trump then fired Mueller, the media would be shouting, "but Jay Sekulow said you wouldn't!!! Scandal!! Scandal!".

Of course, that's the reason why Mueller was hired......

“Mueller will be fired.”

Mueller SHOULD be fired but.. I don’t see how though It would be the mother of all shit storms at this point. They just need to find a way to neuter him.

A very misleading headline. When asked about the possibility of firing Mueller, Jay Sekulow never said “he wouldn’t rule it out.” He said he refused to engage in speculation about that possibility. There’s a big difference between the two.

“Mueller is as CORRUPT as COMEY!!! He will NEVER quit, he will have to be FIRED.”

Couldn’t agree more and I really believe that President Trump made the same mistake that George Bush did, not firing all the holdovers from the previous administration. Just my personal opinion; but, I don’t think I’m wrong.

Sundance is right: Everyone who is anyone in Washington DC knew all along that Trump was not under investigation. Most certainly including all of journalism.

That at reeks to high Heaven. Any member of the Associated Press should have know that and should have said that. The fact that they did not - that instead, they said or insinuated that Trump was under investigation - should awaken the last insentient slug of a voter to the fact that “the MSM” is a pack of lies. Even a Democrat should be able to understand it.

The question is, will Trump be able to get non-uniparty candidates nominated and elected in 2018???

Mueller’s investigation goes nowhere over a long period of time. Mueller’s efforts are obviously endless and fruitless endeavors acting as Special Counsel where he indefinitely drags it out for no good reasons, so Trump lets him go. There are no evidence of crimes in the Trump Administration, and Mueller is not going to magically make it out of the air, therefore, his services are no longer needed.

The cabal of mueller, comey, mccabe, lynch, obama, clinton et al has rendered the face of the once renowned and feared federal law enforcement agency into obscurity. No one sees this agency as lawmen or anything to do with law enforcement anymore, more like lawbreakers. Purveyors of foreign government sleaze merchants eg: supposed dossier. Active investigation maneuvering eg: bubba/lynch tarmac get together. Outright lying by the head cop comey to multiple congressional investigations and manufacturing fake events to steer a BFF into a counsel role (meueller). The FBI needs disbanded, an actual law enforcement officer appointed as head and manned from scratch after the government lifers in their comfy chairs are ousted.

Trump’s not a suspect. There is no need for a special prosecutor. He is in charge of law enforcement, and if chasing down phony hoaxes is not his priority, he is entitled to have no investigation at all.

Firing Mueller could have two good consequences. He would order Rosenstein to do it, since Sessions is recused. Rosenstein might refuse. Rosenstein could then be fired. He’s a Bush nevertrumper, and his appointment of Mueller proves he’s part of the swamp. Good excuse to be rid of him.

Yes...reeks! This was/is the coordinated attempted takedown of an honestly elected POTUS by WTP in order to regain control of trillions of dollars.

Why did we hear nothing about Obams’s scandals and why has Hillary gotten away with it for now? Money. LOTS of taxpayer money. Trillions.

The biggest heist the world has ever seen.

Have you considered that this might all be a PLANNED TRAP for Comey and Mueller?

I think it is.

You’re right. When we saw that Jay is on Trump’s legal team, DH and I were very happy. I wonder if he’ll be the one arguing in front of SCOTUS re immigration. Probably not if he’s one of Trump’s personal attorneys. I guess the AG’s office will handle the other.

It might come down to semantics. They don’t need to say he’s been “fired”. Just say he’s been “ replaced” with someone else. Like changing “investigation” to “matter” .
