Is that total or per offense?
If she released secrets more than once wouldn’t she be sentenced more than once?
If the charge is upgraded to treason her stay may be about 15 years until she is executed.
It’s a 10-year term for one document. I noted in the references this morning....messages (plural) were used on that thumb-drive deal. So you could do ten years for each single message that they think she downloaded. If she doesn’t produce the thumb-drive or prove what happened to the other messages...the jury will just go and convict her on more charges.
I think she’s easily looking at 30 years now. Pretty sad aspect to be that stupid and throw away the best years of your life.
If I were the judge....I’d add one requirement to the prison sentence...no access to computers or the internet for the first ten years of the sentence. She needs to quiet-time to get this 11-9 frustration out of her head.
That’s just for the one they have charged her with so far. They have many more charges they can levy against her if they so choose. Maybe they will fall for the cute blond bit but I hope not. This woman, while stupid, is dangerous.
