There's no self-loathing involved here. I'm going to take a wild guess and say she's probably not a Christian, nor was any member of her bloodline. Are people on FR going to freak out too much if I point out that some of the most virulent Christianity-haters in the world are of Jewish origin, especially those who are secular? There was a movie made over the last few years by Ann Rice who showed Jesus as a "messiah" who came to realize his power. He was seen as a teen. Didn't see it, Didn't want to see it.

They all think that just because Mel Gibson did a movie on Jesus and made over a billion dollars that they just might take a crack at it.

Yeah, good luck you guys. Unless you portray what we as Christians already believe about Him, you will be wasting your time.
