It’s not a technicality. He did not share the contents of the memos with the N.Y. Times until the 15th. That is what he testified to today. Someone else was the basis of the story on the 11th.

There is absolutely no evidence that this statement is true. President Trump's "tapes" tweet appeared on May 12. The existence of the Comey memo was first mentioned in a May 16 article in the New York Times.
