Soros is a very bad dude. He was born in 1930, so one way or another, he will not be with us all that much longer. The question is: how will his money and other assets be divided, and will it go to line the pockets of those who split it up, or will it continue to be utilized in the way he has seen fit to use it?

Good point. Aren’t police/FEMA/fed transmissions encrypted anyway?

As long as cellular service is working, it should be OK. If cellular service is interrupted, you scanner phone app may not work at all. With a real scanner, you by-pass this issue.

Good point. Arent police/FEMA/fed transmissions encrypted anyway? Sometimes, not always. And often digital, which can amount to ablou the same thing depending on the system.
No matter. It's the amount of radio traffic that tells the story, not the content, just like when you hear a whole lot of sirens of emergency vehicles responding to something busy.

You still want a working cell phone for one very important reason. And as long as you have it, you might as well take advantage of the feature while it's available.
Oh, the reason. It tells you whether or not the cell system is working, or has been killed by EMP, solar flare, or shut down. In which case, things just got a notch worse than routine.

Evil doesn’t die easy, and Soros is Evil to the bone, wouldn’t put it past him to buy organs, and have them replaced just so he can keep going.

Agreed.
I don’t need to be lectured by some of these people that spend all of their time on the phone. Everyone is supposed to know these acronyms? I don’t think so.

“Is a Police Scanner app just a good as buying an actual scanner?”
Nope. I have found that the online police scanner channels are not always accurate. On one that I monitor, there have been many repeats of exciting car chases and standoffs...the scanner apps are fed by individuals who port a real scanner to the nets, but they can also feed recorded audio to the app feed.
I see them as entertainment, not sources of critical information. The fun part is listening to an event in Cleveland when I’m in El Segundo, but I have to realize that the radio talk might not be real.

The internet helps keep the hotheads on either side, and their trigger-happy fingers, off the streets. It may keep those of us on the right off, but in case you're wondering, the left IS acting out their civil war thoughts. Their violence is easy to document.

Just one tiny point - it’s NOT THEIR money. It’s our money that they want to keep stealing with their unending preposterous laws.
