This march toward justice is a march toward insanity, a march toward devastation. The efforts to erase history, remove monuments, change names and mascots must stop immediately. If not, our country will disintegrate before our very eyes
In our toxic age of political correctness, nothing is immune from liberal political attacks, even the beautiful, majestic and endangered tigers. It seems obvious that tigers should be supported since their numbers are dwindling the in the wild and their natural habitats are constantly shrinking.
Most people probably think it is innocent for Louisiana State University (LSU) to feature tigers as their mascot and display a well maintained Mike the Tiger in an air conditioned, deluxe enclosure right outside the football stadium. This $3 million habitat is a mansion that tigers in the wild or any animal for that matter would love to call home.
Geaux FLESH!
I don’t get it. Other than being meat eaters, what is the issue with tigers?
It doesn’t even have the name of the alleged group opposing the mascot.
I’m guessing this is a joke perpetrated by a conference rival.
Maybe because some tigers are white? I dunno...
Silly indian. You don’t have touchdowns on a basketball court.
(I know, I know. Too many white faces standing behind him for it to be about basketball.)
Money will out in LA is my guess Geaux Tigers.
I dont get it. Other than being meat eaters, what is the issue with tigers?

“Fighting Tigers” was the name for a Louisiana group of soldiers in the Confederate Army.
The name was adopted at LSU early on and Mike the Tiger is the mascot.
It was a sad, sad day when they were forced by the PC crowd to put the old Chief out to pasture.
There was a Louisiana unit during Lincoln's War that fought for the Confederacy that were proudly known as “Tigers”.
Confederate unit. Get it? Now you must get rid of it.
Or, maybe someone is still upset about the risk the tigers imposed on Sambo.
They switched their mascot from a Southern gentleman to a bear. No more Dixie flag at the Ole Miss games. They have kept the name “Rebels” though.
I’ll give the protestors their choice of dates - Saturday, October 14 versus Auburn or Saturday, November 11th versus Arkansas - both home games with about 100,000+ Tiger fans in Baton Rouge. All of you protestors are welcome to try and get rid of Mike on those dates....
Just TRY to go to Baton Rouge on a Game Day Saturday, wearing masks, and see just how far you go with your chanting and attempting to disrupt things....
This isn't California, and those Cajuns aren't a bunch of wimpy milquetoasts you can push around....
The last thing that'll go through your mind, before dying a gruesome death and living eternally separated from God in unending agony, are probably some Alligator's teeth after they cut you up and feed you to the swamp creatures.
So because of the civil war connotation, which nobody had heard of until now,
= = =
Maybe, just maybe some snowflake somewhere DID study a little history.
Wrong motive, of course, but just maybe.
They better get back to basket weaving. (Dang, I fell into that cultural appropriation.)
These idiots will only go as far as they’re allowed to. Need those in charge to get a pair, stiffen their spines and say NO!!!
